$120,000–$125,000 + Super + 5–10% Bonus The Company

We are partnering with a global medical technology organisation that develops innovative technologies designed to improve surgical workflows and patient outcomes.

The business operates internationally and has a strong presence across orthopaedics and advanced surgical technology, combining software, hardware and enabling technologies to support healthcare professionals in clinical environments.

With continued investment in its Australian engineering capability, the organisation is expanding its Brisbane-based Enabling Technologies team and is looking for a DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineer to support the development and delivery of its next generation of medical technology.

The Opportunity

This is a software-engineering-focused DevOps / Platform position where you’ll work across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, deployment and production environments.

You’ll partner closely with software engineers, architects, QA, security and product teams to improve developer experience, platform reliability and the way software is built, tested and deployed.

Key responsibilities will include

- Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Developing Infrastructure as Code and automating workplace provisioning
- Supporting containerised and cloud-based applications
- Improving monitoring, logging and observability
- Supporting application performance, scalability and availability
- Troubleshooting production issues and completing root cause analysis




- Contributing to cloud security, compliance and governance
- Driving automation and reducing manual operational processes
- Supporting software verification and validation within a regulated MedTech environment

About You

We’re looking for someone with 2+ years’ experience across DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE or Software Engineering.

Ideally, you will bring experience with:

- AWS, Azure or GCP
- Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation or similar
- CI/CD and deployment automation
- Linux and containerised environments
- Git and modern software development practices
- Monitoring, logging and observability
- Cloud networking, security and identity fundamentals
- Strong scripting, coding and automation skills

Experience with technologies such as AWS, Pulumi, TeamCity, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry or similar platforms would be beneficial.

Previous experience in MedTech, healthcare, regulated software or another safety-critical environment is advantageous but not essential.

We would also be interested in speaking with strong Software Engineers looking to move further into Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering or DevSecOps.
