Merimbula-Tura Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and professional Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will support children’s learning, development and wellbeing by creating a safe, nurturing and engaging early learning environment. You will work collaboratively with children, families and colleagues to deliver high-quality educational experiences and contribute positively to our kindergarten community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current NSW Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Completed Child Protection Training
- Completed Advanced Child Safe Training modules
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- A professional,



caring and child-centred approach

Key responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
- Build respectful and positive relationships with children and families
- Observe, document and extend children’s learning
- Maintain a secure, inclusive and stimulating environment
- Work collaboratively with the educational team
- Follow all relevant policies, procedures and child safety requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the kindergarten’s educational program
