Empowered Living Choices (ELC) is looking for compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in and around Brisbane, supporting participants across AM, PM and active night shifts.

About the Role

We are seeking Disability Support Workers who are passionate about supporting people to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

You may be supporting participants with:

- Personal care and daily living activities
- Community access and appointments
- Meal preparation and household tasks
- Medication support, where trained and authorised
- Evening and morning routines
- Emotional and social support
- Maintaining a safe, respectful and comfortable environment

We are looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Caring, patient and empathetic
- Calm and confident when responding to changing needs
- Respectful of individual, cultural and religious beliefs
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Good communicators who can maintain accurate documentation
- Committed to providing person-centred support

Requirements
- Previous disability support experience preferred
- Certificate III in Individual Support,



Disability or Community Services preferred
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current National Police Check
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with disabilities

Employment Type: Casual

Shifts: AM, PM & Active nights. Availability across weekdays and weekends is highly regarded.

Pay: In accordance with the SCHADS Award and based on experience and qualifications
