Casual Female Support Worker – Gosnells

G'Day Support Services is looking for a casual female support worker to join us in supporting a participant based in Gosnells.

__________________________________________________

About the role

You'll be supporting a female NDIS participant with community access - accompanying her on outings, appointments, and day-to-day activities that help her stay connected and engaged in her community. The role is approximately 12 hours per week (2x weekday shifts, 09:00 - 15:00)

__________________________________________________

Who you’d be supporting The participant is a woman who lives with EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, also called BPD) and she's looking for someone who gets it. Not someone who's read about it once - someone who's worked alongside people with complex mental health stuff before and knows that consistency, patience, and a positive laugh go a long way.

This person is looking for a worker who:

- Has prior experience supporting people with EUPD or similar complex mental health presentations
- Is consistent, patient, and non-judgmental
- Brings a genuine sense of humour to the role
- Enjoys community-based support and getting out and about

Please note: the participant is a smoker, so you'll be exposed to cigarette smoke in her home. We'd encourage you to factor this in before applying. __________________________________________________
