Female Disability Support Workers – SIL Home | Inner North Brisbane

Join a New SIL Team from the Beginning

Eucaly Care is a registered NDIS provider supporting people with disability across Brisbane. We are currently establishing a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) residence in Bardon and are seeking caring, reliable and committed support workers to form the core team.

This is an chance to join a house from the beginning and help create a positive, stable and supportive home environment for two adult female participants.

We strongly value consistency. As the house and roster become established, our goal is to provide staff with regular, predictable shifts and minimise unnecessary changes to the participants' support team.

The Position

You will be supporting two women living in a shared SIL home. The role involves providing day-to-day assistance, personal care and support to help participants maintain independence and enjoy life in their own home and community.

You will have support from an on-site Team Leader and an accessible House Coordinator.

Shift Times

- Morning: 6:30am – 2:30pm
- Afternoon: 2:30pm – 10:30pm
- Sleepover: 10:30pm – 6:30am

Successful applicants should have availability across a combination of morning, afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts. Pay rates and applicable penalties are in accordance with the SCHADS Award.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day may include

- Assisting participants with personal care and daily routines
- Supporting showering, dressing, grooming and continence needs
- Preparing meals and following individual dietary or mealtime requirements
- Helping maintain a clean and organised home
- Assisting with shopping, appointments and community activities




- Providing transport and supporting social participation
- Completing progress notes and required documentation
- Recording relevant information such as bowel and mealtime records
- Following individual support plans and organisational procedures
- Identifying and reporting changes in health, wellbeing or behaviour
- Participating in training, handovers and team meetings

What You'll Need To be considered, applicants should have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or relevant equivalent experience
- Current Queensland Blue Card
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR certification




- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Full working rights in Australia
- Availability across a variety of shift types, including weekends and sleepovers

Highly Regarded While not essential, experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Supported Independent Living or group home environments
- Supporting people with complex support needs
- Mealtime management and dysphagia support
- Positive behaviour support

The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, patient and genuinely interested in building meaningful long-term relationships with the people they support.

Ideally, you will live within a reasonable distance of Bardon or Brisbane's Inner West, be comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team, and understand the importance of consistency in a person's daily life.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who want to become a familiar and trusted part of the participants' home.

Pay: $36.81 – $83.01 per hour
