Disability Support Workers & High Intensity Support Worker roles – Set Regular Rosters

Client Centred Home Care (CCHC) is seeking reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team on the Gold Coast.

We are looking for several team members who are willing to commit to regular set rostered shifts and maintain the same days and times each week. These casual positions provide consistency for both our participants and our staff.

Our clients are located throughout Robina, Hope Island, and surrounding suburbs, and we are currently recruiting for the following areas of support:

1. Support Workers (Robina)

We are seeking a few Support Workers to provide person-centred support to four participants who live in our SDA Apartments in Robina.

Responsibilities may include:

- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Community access and social support
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Meal preparation and domestic assistance
- Medication support
- Supporting participants experiencing anxiety and emotional distress
- Hoist, manual handling and transfer
- Ensuring accurate shift notes are completed and incidents are escalated to the Case Manager.

Ideal candidates will have:

- Certificate III in Individual, disability or aged care support or similar
- Experience supporting people with intellectual impairment
- A calm, patient and person-centred approach
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support
- Availability to commit to ongoing regular shifts
- You would be calm and patient
- You would be good a deescalating anxiety and following documented strategies that help the participant regulate
- You would be able to implement a structured routine but have the ability to be flexible in your approach based on client presentation
- You would enjoy going to sea world, musicals, set routines, Disney, and the library.

Set weekly shifts Monday 2pm - 10pm

Friday 6am - 3:30pm

1. High Intensity Support Workers (Nerang)

We are also seeking experienced Support Workers with skills and confidence in supporting participants with a spinal cord injury.



You will work directly under a registered Nurse and perform personal care, medication administration, bowel care, emotional support, life administration and community access.

Set weekly shifts

Monday 9am - 2:30pm and Saturday Weekly 9am - 1pm

Experience with the following is highly regarded:

- Digital Stimulation

- Catheter Care
- Meal prep, Cooking and feeding

- Medication administration
- Skin integrity and pressure area care
- Recognising and reporting changes in health needs to the Registered Nurse
- You would be hoist trained and be confident with manual handling

Ideal candidates will have:

- Previous experience with high-intensity supports
- Certificate III in Individual, disability or aged care Support or similar
- Enrolled nurses or Registered Nurses highly desirable
- Confidence working independently in clients' homes
- Excellent clinical awareness and attention to detail
- A commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
- Availability to maintain a consistent weekly roster

1. Support Workers / Team leader / Residential Care officer (Nerang)

We are seeking a few Support Workers / residential care officer and a team leader to join our team in Nerang to provide person-centred support. Our participants have Parkinsons disease and Huntington's disease.

Our participant will be relocating to the gold coast in the coming weeks and we are seeking a team leader to help ensure the home runs smoothly and to ensure escalation to the RN for any health changes.

Set Roster

Monday /Tuesday /Thursday and Friday 7:30am - 2:30pm

Nurses or experience in a SIL home supporting a team on the front line highly desirable.

Responsibilities may include:

- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Community access and social support




- Transport to appointments and activities
- Meal preparation and domestic assistance
- Medication support
- Behaviour management
- Supporting participants with redirection strategies
- Ensuring accurate shift notes are completed and incidents are escalated to the Case Manager.

Ideal candidates will have:

- Experience supporting people with dementia
- A calm, patient and person-centred approach
- A love for walking
- Ability to identify changes in a persons presentation and escalate concerns to the Registered Nurse
- High attention to detail in documentation of case notes
- Solid communication skills
- The ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support
- Availability to commit to ongoing regular shifts
- Hoist experience highly desirable
- Willing to work as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual, disability or aged care Support or similar
- You must be able to commit to 2-3 shifts per week
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
