About the role

This role involves working across both the dispensary and packing areas, supporting pharmacists to provide safe, productive and high-quality care to patients. You will be working in a busy community pharmacy team in Bundaberg, in a team environment with robust attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Prepare and manage medication packing (blister packs / dose administration aids)

- Process prescriptions using pharmacy dispensing software

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Provide friendly and professional customer service to patients

- Assist with stock management and inventory control

- Help maintain an organised and efficient dispensary and packing area

About you





- Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician, Pharmacy Assistant, or Packing Technician highly regarded

- Minimum 6 months experience in a dispensary, pharmacy assistant, or packing technician role is ideal

- Experience with medication packing or blister packs preferred

- Confident using computers and pharmacy dispensing software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting

- Reliable, organised and professional

- Must be an Australian permanent resident with full work rights
