About the Role Sabre Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Dogman for an immediate start at Moranbah North Mine on a 7/7 roster.

This is a site based civil role supporting lifting operations, mobile plant and the wider construction crew. We are looking for someone with solid dogging experience who is confident working around cranes and heavy equipment in an active mining and civil construction environment.

You will need to be safety focused, comfortable working as part of a crew and capable of carrying out dogging duties confidently without constant supervision.

The Role • 7/7 roster, Wednesday to Tuesday

- 11.5 hour days
- FIFO or DIDO
- Dogging and lifting operations
- Direct crane movements and communicate with operators
- Select and inspect appropriate lifting gear
- Sling, secure and control loads safely during lifting operations
- Assist with the safe movement and positioning of materials and equipment
- Work around cranes, excavators and other mobile plant
- Assist the wider civil crew with general site activities when required
- Work closely with operators, supervisors and other members of the site crew
- Immediate start available

What You Need • Current High Risk Work Licence with DG Dogging classification

- Demonstrated dogging experience in civil construction, mining or a similar heavy industry workplace
- Strong understanding of lifting operations, load control and safe work practices
- Confident selecting and inspecting lifting equipment appropriate to the task
- Confident communicating with crane and plant operators during lifting activities
- Ability to work safely around heavy mobile plant and equipment
- Ability to work independently when required and as part of a site based crew
- Available for an immediate or short notice start

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG AND ALCOHOL TEST

Highly Regarded • Previous coal mining or mine site experience

- Civil construction experience
- Additional High Risk Work Licence competencies
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
