Anything Environmental is the only locally owned and operated Containers for Change depot in the Whitsunday region. We are passionate about recycling, supporting our local community, and delivering outstanding customer service.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our team as Hand Sorters / Forklift Operators / Truck Driver at our Proserpine and Cannonvale depots.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

- Sorting and counting eligible drink containers
- Accurately recording container counts and customer refunds
- Providing friendly customer service
- Operating a forklift (where required)
- Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised
- Driving our manual truck to collect containers from local businesses
- Assisting with general depot duties as required
- Working every second Saturday (8:00am – 12:30pm)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:




- Have a strong work ethic and be reliable
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on workplace
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks
- Be able to work safely and follow workplace procedures
- Have good numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Be comfortable working around recyclable containers and associated odours
- Hold a current manual drivers licence and forklift licence

Please note: Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from Working Holiday (Subclass 417) visa holders.
