ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a reliable Driver to join our busy Door Centre team. You’ll deliver doors and building materials to customers across Cairns, making sure every load arrives safely, accurately and on time. This is a hands-on, physical role for someone who enjoys being part of a team and providing great customer service. We’ll support you with ongoing training and opportunities to build your skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

- Complete customer deliveries safely and on schedule
- Check loads against run sheets and confirm all goods are accounted for
- Load, unload and move stock safely, taking care to prevent damage
- Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and teammates
- Operate vehicles, forklifts and other equipment safely and in line with company procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- At least three years’ truck-driving experience and a clean driving record




- A current Medium Rigid (MR) licence, forklift (LF) licence and White Card
- Forklift experience, including confidence working in tight spaces
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle goods safely
- Good attention to detail and a reliable, organised approach
- Clear communication skills and a friendly manner
- A genuine commitment to safety and company values
- Knowledge of Cairns and surrounding areas
