Role Description The Early Career Psychologist/Registrar will provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to clients across diverse backgrounds and presenting issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical records,
and collaborating with colleagues and referrers to ensure integrated care. The role involves participating in supervision and professional development activities, contributing to a supportive team culture, and upholding ethical and client-centered practice standards.
This is a full-time equivalent, on-site role based across The Three Seas Psychology Group locations in the Greater Melbourne Area.
Qualifications:
General Registration with AHPRA
Optional: Eligible for Clinical Registrar Program
Desirable:
- Strong foundation in Psychology, including theoretical knowledge and application in clinical settings.
- Demonstrated skills in Counselling and Mental Health support, with a client-centred and evidence-based approach.
- Competence in Psychological Assessment, including intake, formulation, and use of standardised tools.
- Competence in providing intervention using CBT, ACT, DBT, IPT, Psychodynamic and/or Schema Therapy
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Commitment to supervision, ongoing career development, and adherence to ethical practice guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
