Early Childhood Cook | Morayfield | Brand New 150 Place Centre | Full Time A brand new purpose built early learning centre is opening in Morayfield and we are searching for an experienced Early Childhood Cook who can step in from day one and confidently run a busy, compliant and well organised kitchen. This is a full time role suited to someone who thrives in high volume environments and takes pride in creating nutritious and child friendly meals that support the daily experience of children and families.

This centre will support up to 150 children, so we are looking for a cook who is calm under pressure, highly organised and confident managing large scale meal preparation with ease.

Role and Responsibilities

As the Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to children daily.

- Planning and preparing weekly menus that cater to dietary needs and preferences
- Preparing meals and snacks for up to 150 children
- Ensuring all food is prepared in line with health and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant kitchen environment
- Managing food supplies, inventory and ordering




- Working collaboratively with the team to create a warm and enjoyable mealtime experience

What You Will Bring
- Proven experience as a cook, ideally in early childhood or a similar high volume environment
- Confidence managing large scale meal preparation
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for young children
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Creativity and passion for preparing appealing and nutritious meals
- Full Australian working rights
