We’re looking for an experienced eCommerce Specialist to join the digital team of a leading Australian furniture retailer during an exciting period of digital investment and website transformation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves getting into the detail of what makes an ecommerce site convert; using data, customer behaviour and commercial thinking to identify opportunities and turn them into tangible improvements.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse the full ecommerce funnel using GA4, identifying drop-off points and opportunities to improve conversion
- Own a prioritised CRO roadmap, identifying quick wins across PDPs, CTAs, mobile UX, checkout and the broader customer journey
- Build and refine ecommerce reporting across conversion, revenue, sessions, AOV and funnel performance
- Audit and improve product catalogue content, including copy, attributes, specifications, imagery and SEO
- Develop content standards and frameworks that can be embedded across the wider business
- Identify and brief website enhancements across areas such as product filtering, reviews, delivery visibility and personalisation
- Work closely with the front-end developer and agency partners to scope, prioritise and deliver improvements
- Support the rollout and optimisation of the new BigCommerce theme
- Ensure GA4 ecommerce tracking and conversion events are working correctly post-launch
- Bring an omnichannel mindset,
ensuring the online experience complements the in-store customer journey
- Document key learnings, processes and recommendations to ensure a seamless handover to the permanent team
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have experience in an eCommerce Specialist or eCommerce Management role, preferably within a fast-paced omnichannel retail environment.
You’ll bring
- Strong experience with BigCommerce or a comparable ecommerce platform
- Solid GA4 knowledge, including ecommerce tracking and funnel analysis
- A strong understanding of CRO and onsite customer experience
- Experience managing and enriching large product catalogues
- Knowledge of SEO, product feeds and Google Merchant Centre
- Experience working with developers and agencies to bring website improvements to life
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- The ability to take data and turn it into clear, practical commercial action
Experience with third-party integrations across reviews, search or CRM personalisation would be a bonus.
Why this role?
This is a excellent opportunity to step into a role where you’ll have real ownership and influence over the ecommerce experience, working closely with senior digital leadership and a front-end developer during a key period of website investment.
If you’re an ecommerce specialist who enjoys finding the problem, figuring out the opportunity and making the change happen, we’d love to hear from you.
