The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia is seeking highly capable and motivated lawyers to join the Court as Judicial Registrars. This prestigious role offers the opportunity to perform delegated judicial functions, conduct mediations, manage complex proceedings, and work closely with Judges in the resolution of general federal law matters.

This role is suitable for lawyers at Senior Associate level and above. The position is ideal for practitioners with substantial civil litigation experience who are looking to broaden their impact within the Australian legal system. Experience in mediation, dispute resolution, insolvency, Fair Work, administrative law, human rights, migration, or other areas of general federal law will be highly regarded.

Requirements

- Admission as a legal practitioner in an Australian jurisdiction
- Minimum 5 years' post-admission experience
- Significant civil litigation experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure legal environment
