As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an Electrical Draftsperson / Electrical Design Drafter to join our team.

Whether you're already experienced in switchboard drafting or you're an Electrical Draftsperson looking to further develop your electrical design skills, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced team, you'll prepare drawings and technical documentation for custom-built switchboards while progressively developing your design capability.

You'll be involved from initial customer requirements through to manufacture, working closely with production to ensure practical, buildable solutions.

No two projects are the same, giving you exposure to a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications.

Your day may include

Preparing electrical schematics and general arrangement drawings

Producing manufacturing documentation using AutoCAD

Assisting with electrical and switchboard design

Developing simple control circuits

Supporting production by resolving technical queries

Working closely with engineers, production staff and customers

Ensuring designs comply with Australian Standards including AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 61439

Contributing ideas that improve design quality and manufacturing efficiency

About You

We are interested in people who enjoy solving problems, have strong attention to detail and want to continue developing their technical skills.

You may come from a background such as:

· Electrical Drafting





· Electrical Design

· Electrical Engineering

· Building Services

· Industrial Automation

· Switchboard Manufacturing

· Electrical Trades

If you have experience with AutoCAD and enjoy technical work, we would like to hear from you.

You don't need to tick every box, we are looking for someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn and a genuine interest in electrical design.

We would love to see experience in some of the following

· AutoCAD drafting

· Reading electrical schematics

· Switchboards or power distribution

· Electrical design principles

· Manufacturing or production documentation

· Control circuits

· Industrial or commercial electrical projects

Don't worry if you haven't worked across all of these, we value attitude, initiative and the ability to learn just as much as previous experience.
