You will be working alongside qualified electricians on a variety of electrical projects, with a strong focus on underground mains and associated electrical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting electricians with underground mains installations
- Installation and preparation of underground conduits and cabling
- Cable hauling and pulling
- Excavation preparation and trench work
- Installation of pits, conduits and underground electrical infrastructure
- Assisting with mains upgrades and consumer mains installations
- General electrical trade assistant duties
- Loading, unloading and maintaining tools and materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
- Following all WHS procedures and site safety requirements
About you
- Previous experience as an Electrical Trades Assistant
- Experience working with underground electrical mains
- Experience with conduit installation and cable hauling
- A strong understanding of construction site safety
- White Card
- Current NSW driver's license
- Ability to work well within a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
