About the Role
Based at our newly renovated Australian Head Office in Eagle Farm, QLD, you'll lead a team of Engineers who work closely with our Electricians in the field on a range of battery and solar projects throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of engineers to ensure they have the skills and tools to succeed.
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex engineering tasks across commissioning, maintenance, and new product introduction.
- Providing technical guidance on troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization of inverter and battery storage systems for clients, technicians, and stakeholders - including AEMO (Australian Energy Market Operator).
- Supporting the team on programming and settings for Utility Scale Inverters, Power Plant Controllers, and Battery Interface Controllers, and overseeing communications and control systems including SCADA and PLC.
- Ensuring all systems and projects comply with industry standards and safety regulations, including hazard reporting and risk control.
- Liaising directly with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support and solutions.
- Conducting performance analysis and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Australia and Spain — including Sales, Design, Quality Assurance, Operations, Business Development, Finance & Legal.
About You Ideally, you will possess a wide skillset, which could include team leadership, technical troubleshooting, project management, and a strong grounding in inverter and battery storage technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field. (Essential)
- 5 years' experience in leading a team. (Essential)
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and make sound strategic decisions.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex issues using data.
- Excellent software knowledge, including the Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Skilled in various communications and control systems and protocols (SCADA, PLC).
- Excellent communicator and coach, comfortable empowering others and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Business communications skills with the ability to produce detailed reports and engage confidently with stakeholders across diverse cultural and qualified environments.
- Experience with the Python programming language (Preferable but not limiting).
