The Jacobs Planning and Environmental Approvals team deliver complex and technically challenging local and national projects for clients involved in a wide range of infrastructure and development activities, including state and national public utilities, renewable energy projects, transport infrastructure, resources and energy projects and large-scale environmental management programs.
We are seeking to appoint an Environmental Planner to our Melbourne based Planning and Environmental Approvals team as we continue to build our practice.
This role will support the delivery of projects within our Melbourne team.
Primary responsibilities will include; undertaking technical assessments to support the delivery of a range of projects; working collaboratively with a range of disciplines; undertaking planning assessments; and assisting with writing proposals.

What you will require
- Tertiary qualification in planning, environmental science or other relevant degree.
- Demonstrated success in preparing planning applications.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team-oriented team.
- Presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Report writing abilities.
- Organisational skills, motivated and able to work semi-autonomously.
