We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking and physically fit Event Labourers to join our team and work across some of Melbourne's most iconic event venues, including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) , Melbourne Showgrounds and other venues across the city. This is not a full time position and is suitable for anyone who studies or wants casual hours.

About the Role

As an Event Labourer, you will play an important role in helping events run smoothly from start to finish. You'll work as part of a team during bump-in and bump-out, assisting with the setup and pack-down of events in fast-paced environments as well as spotting for a forklift driver.

What You'll Be Doing

- General labouring and manual handling
- Assisting with event bump-in and bump-out
- Acting as a spotter for forklifts and other equipment
- Moving and positioning event equipment and materials
- Working to tight deadlines and event schedules
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
- Following all WHS and site safety procedures

To Be Successful, You Will Have

- Previous labouring,



warehouse or events experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling tasks
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work day, evening, night and weekend shifts
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Your own PPE, including steel-cap boots and high-vis clothing
