About the Role
MPOT is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting chance to work with a diverse client base across musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic disease, workplace rehabilitation and disability services, delivering care in clinic, community and home-based settings.
You will manage a varied caseload, working alongside experienced Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech Pathologists to achieve meaningful outcomes for clients. With access to purpose-built rehabilitation facilities, ongoing mentoring and opportunities to develop specialist clinical skills, this role is ideal for an Exercise Physiologist looking to build a rewarding and varied career.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based exercise interventions
- Manage complex and chronic conditions, with focus on musculoskeletal & neurological rehab
- Provide case management including treatment planning, reporting, and outcome tracking
- Liaise with referrers, GPs, insurers, support coordinators, families,
and allied health colleagues
- Contribute to team development, quality improvement, and client-centred care
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology
- Current ESSA accreditation (AEP)
- Demonstrated experience in chronic disease, musculoskeletal & neurological rehabilitation
- Strong case management, reporting, and clinical reasoning skills
- Effective time management and organisational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel
- Valid working with children clearance, NDIS Workers screen check and police clearance
Desirable
- Experience in insurance or compensable schemes (e.g. RTWSA, NDIS, CTP)
- Interest or additional training in neurological and/or complex musculoskeletal rehab
- Previous work in multi-disciplinary or community healthcare settings
- Proficiency in report writing and clinical software
