About the role

Barberhood Studios is seeking an Experienced Barber to join our dynamic team in Ormeau, QLD 4208. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to showcase your craft and build lasting relationships with our valued clientele. As an experienced barber, you will be at the heart of our studio, delivering exceptional grooming services whilst maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

This role is integral to our reputation for excellence in the hair and beauty services industry.

What you'll be doing

- Providing professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and grooming treatments to a diverse clientele
- Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene and sanitisation in accordance with industry regulations and best practices
- Consulting with clients to understand their styling preferences and recommending appropriate services and products
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty
- Keeping the barbershop clean, organised and welcoming at all times
- Managing appointment schedules effectively and ensuring punctual service delivery
- Staying current with the latest barbering trends, techniques and industry developments
- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when needed

What we're looking for

- Experience as a barber
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality barbering services with excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols specific to the barbering industry
- Proficiency with professional barbering tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
