TerryWhite Chemmart Robina is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

This is a full-time position and an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant who is confident in a community pharmacy environment and ready to hit the ground running.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who also brings Dispensary Technician or Stock Management experience and can contribute across different areas of the pharmacy. However, we would also welcome applications from experienced Pharmacy Assistants who are keen to take the next step in their pharmacy career and develop their skills in either dispensary technician duties or stock management.

About the Role

As an experienced Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll be an important part of the customer experience at TerryWhite Chemmart Robina, providing knowledgeable, friendly and professional service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Working alongside our pharmacy team, your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering outstanding customer service and personalised assistance
- Assisting customers with over-the-counter medicines within your training and experience
- Referring customers to the pharmacist when appropriate
- Processing sales accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Accepting prescriptions for dispensing and assisting with customer enquiries
- Maintaining attractive, organised and well-stocked retail displays
- Assisting with stock replenishment, merchandising and promotional displays
- Supporting TerryWhite Chemmart health services and in-store initiatives




- Working collaboratively with pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team
- Contributing to dispensary or stock management activities, depending on your experience and skills

For someone with the right experience and career goals, there is scope to further develop your capabilities across the pharmacy and build additional skills in dispensary technician or stock management responsibilities.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant who understands the pace and expectations of community pharmacy and can quickly become a valued member of the team.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant in community pharmacy
- Dispensary Technician and/or Stock Management experience would be highly regarded
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confidence assisting customers with over-the-counter products within your training and experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn pharmacy systems
- A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
- The ability to multitask effectively in a busy pharmacy environment
- A Certificate II, III or IV in Community Pharmacy would be advantageous
