WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR | BRISBANE

LCS is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our Brisbane team on a full-time, office-based position.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in the construction industry who can confidently manage estimating and tendering from start to finish.

About the Role

As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates and quotations across a range of construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reviewing project plans, drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
- Preparing accurate and competitive project estimates.
- Preparing detailed material, labour and subcontractor take-offs.
- Obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Preparing and submitting tenders and quotations within deadlines.
- Identifying project requirements, exclusions and potential risks.
- Reviewing variations and additional works.
- Liaising with builders, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams.
- Following up submitted tenders and maintaining tender records.
- Assisting with pricing strategies and commercial negotiations.
- Managing multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Working closely with management to achieve competitive and profitable pricing.





About You We are looking for someone who has:

- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian construction industry.
- Experience estimating construction projects and preparing tenders.
- Excellent understanding of plans, drawings, specifications and scopes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and commercial approach to estimating.
