Casual Support Worker – Home & Community Based

We are looking for experienced Support Workers to join us and support participants through home and community-based services.

About the Role

As a Casual Support Worker, you will provide home-based and community-based supports, assisting participants to live safely, independently, and meaningfully within their own homes and local communities. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, reliable, and confident supporting participants with a range of needs in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing practical and emotional support in the home and community
- Assisting with daily living activities and personal care (where required)
- Supporting community access, social engagement, and skill development
- Promoting independence, choice, and participant dignity
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
- Completing accurate and timely case notes and documentation
- Communicating effectively with participants, families, and internal teams




- Maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to organisational policies

Essential Qualifications & Compliance

- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Car Registration (with expiry)
- Full Comprehensive Car Insurance (with expiry)
- Current Driver's License (with expiry)

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience as a support worker or in a similar caring role is required
- Experience providing disability or community-based supports
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping others
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
