GM3 is inviting expressions of interest from experienced mining professionals for potential roles at Tahmoor Mine following the proposed recommencement of operations.
We are excited about the opportunity to support the next chapter of Tahmoor Mine and are looking for experienced people who would like to help build a safe, productive and sustainable operation.
Successful candidates for these roles will be employed by GM3 and are expected to be based at Tahmoor Mine following completion of the proposed acquisition.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the recommencement of a mine with a proud history, help rebuild operational capability and be part of a strong and experienced mining team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the GM and Tahmoor Mine leadership team.
This role is based at Tahmoor Mine, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.
Key activities include but are not limited to:
- Provide executive and administrative support to the General Manager of Tahmoor Mine.
- Coordinate office activities, meeting schedules, site visits, travel arrangements and key administration requirements.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting papers and other documents as required.
- Track actions, maintain records and support timely follow-up across the leadership team.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU You are a highly organised and skilled administration or executive support specialist who enjoys working in a busy site-based environment. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities while supporting senior leaders and coordinating day-to-day office activities.
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant business administration qualification or equivalent experience.
- Advanced capability with Microsoft 365 and document management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Current Australian driver licence where required for site duties.
- Any site access requirements must be confirmed before appointment.
- Executive support experience in a complex operational or corporate environment.
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
- High level written communication and stakeholder management capability.
- Sound judgement, discretion and confidence handling sensitive information.
- Strong capability with Microsoft 365 and contemporary administration systems.
