GM3 is inviting expressions of interest from experienced mining professionals for potential roles at Tahmoor Mine following the proposed recommencement of operations.

We are excited about the chance to support the next chapter of Tahmoor Mine and are looking for experienced people who would like to help build a safe, productive and sustainable operation.

Successful candidates for these roles will be employed by GM3 and are expected to be based at Tahmoor Mine following completion of the proposed acquisition.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the HSRT Superintendent, the Safety Coordinator will support the delivery and improvement of safety and risk management systems at Tahmoor Mine. The role will coordinate safety programs, audits, incident follow-up, reporting and compliance activities, while providing practical support to operational leaders, employees and contractors.

Working closely with site teams, you will help ensure safety requirements, risk controls and improvement actions are embedded into day-to-day operations.

This role is based at Tahmoor Mine,



located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

- Coordinate safety programs, audits, reporting and compliance actions.
- Maintain safety systems, records, databases and reporting tools.
- Support risk assessments, incident investigations and action close-out.
- Provide guidance to leaders, employees and contractors on safety and risk processes.
- Support continuous improvement of safety performance and operational discipline.

ABOUT YOU

What you’ll bring:

- Relevant experience in safety, risk, health and safety, compliance or a related operational discipline.
- Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or similar (desirable)
- Underground coal mining or heavy industry experience (desirable)
- Experience in safety, risk, compliance or a similar role within mining, heavy industry or an operational environment.
- Sound knowledge of safety and risk management systems.
- Understanding of WHS requirements, preferably within NSW mining.
- Experience supporting audits, investigations, reporting and action tracking.
- Strong communication, planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
