The Opportunity:

The Scope of the Role:
Working closely with the factory manager, the production team, head office, customers, suppliers and service providers, this hands-on varied role will take ownership of coordinating the day-to-day administration for:
- Production scheduling.
- Logistics.
- Purchasing.
- Inventory.
- Quality.
- Compliance.
- Payroll and HR.

The Duties: The duties will be diverse and will include:
- Coordinate production scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.
- Manage documentation and activities for local and export dispatch.
- Coordinate freight bookings, transport providers and customer delivery requirements.
- Manage purchasing processes, including purchase orders, supplier liaison, receivals and invoice verification.
- Monitor consumable inventory and support raw material stock control.
- Coordinate reporting and activities to support monthly stocktakes and reconciliations.
- Maintain quality, WHS and environmental documentation and records.
- Coordinate audit preparation, compliance actions, training records and statutory documentation.
- Prepare payroll information and maintain accurate employee records.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and general employee administration.
- Coordinate cloud-based business systems and liaise with external IT providers.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures and administrative processes.
- Support cross-training and knowledge transfer across critical functions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, contractors, transport providers and Head Office.
- Provide administrative leadership and step into a higher-capacity role as required.
The Successful Applicant: The ideal applicant will need to demonstrate the capacity to be a proactive and capable administration professional with excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail,
the ability to prioritise and multi-task and be comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.

- Robust Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong planning, organisation and time management capabilities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record keeping.
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.

- A practical, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to take ownership.
Although the following are not all essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants able to demonstrate any of the items below:
- Experience in administration management, operations administration or a similar role.
- Experience within a manufacturing, logistics or industrial environment.
- Experience with purchasing, inventory, logistics or business administration systems.
- Experience with quality, WHS and environmental compliance systems.
- Experience with payroll preparation and other HR related tasks.
- Relevant formal qualifications.
