Truecare Support Services is a Disability Service operating across the region of Victoria. We support an approach that is: professional, flexible, reliable, empowering for individuals, ethical, collaborative and accountable. We are on the search for individuals located in or willing to travel to St. Kilda!

We are looking for individuals with experience in working with a wide range of conditions such as: Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia, Mental Health etc. as well as positive behaviour support and an extensive background in high-intensity mental health as well as the ability to develop emotion management skills. Experience in personal care is also preferred as it will be a requirement for the role and must have good communication skills. Drivers licence required.

Shifts will be as follows:

- Monday - Sunday - 10:00AM-1:00PM
- Monday - Sunday - 5:00PM-8:00PM

Selection Criteria (Essential)

- Certificate III/IV in Disability Studies or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Working with Mental Health Experience
- Experience in Challenging Behaviour




- Previous experience in the aged care and disability fields in a comparable position
- COVID-19 infection control certificate
- Current insurance on private vehicle (to be used for work purposes)
- Right to work in Australia
- Current Police/NDIS Screening Check
- Demonstrated skills supporting and caring for adults with complex support need
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the conflict resolution, negotiation, problem solving, and the ability to communicate effectively as a member of the team.
- Ability and willingness to work in a diverse range of settings including but not limited to – a person’s home or place of residence, other services, community groups and other community settings
- General awareness of health & safety issues
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: From $35.00 per year
