Talent Lab Co are partnering exclusively with our client, who are at a genuinely exciting point in their growth for a Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling beauty portfolio....one where the right regulatory and compliance leader won't just keep the wheels turning, but will help shape how the business continues to scale into new markets and categories at the necessary pace.
As Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Manager , you'll own the regulatory and compliance framework across the business, becoming the trusted internal advisor on product legality, claim substantiation, ingredient compliance, artwork approval and post-market obligations.
You’ll work closely with Product, Operations, Marketing and Sales to keep the business moving fast- of course, without ever compromising on what matters.
This is a specialist leadership role for someone who thrives on building things from the ground up: strong technical judgement, commercial pragmatism, and the ability to create systems that scale as fast as the business does. It's a chance to leave a real fingerprint on a brand on the rise- not just maintain what's already there.
In this role, you will:
- Be the internal go-to expert on regulatory affairs, product compliance and technical governance
- Provide clear, commercially sharp advice that shapes decisions across product development, marketing and operations
- Build systems and controls from scratch that reduce risk while helping the business move faster, not slower
- Take full ownership of high-impact technical matters, with the autonomy to make things happen
- Build genuine trust and credibility with stakeholders, retailers, suppliers and partners across the business
- Get ahead of compliance risks before they become commercial problems
- Translate technical complexity into clear, confident business decisions
- Own regulatory review and approval of all new and existing products across the portfolio, from ingredient assessment through to finished product compliance
- Review formulations and raw material documentation against relevant legislation, standards and restricted/prohibited substance requirements
- Review and approve product claims, copy and artwork before launch, partnering closely with Marketing and Product to ensure everything is accurate and supportable
- Oversee substantiation files for product claims, including clinicals, test reports and technical justifications
- Provide guidance on higher-risk claim areas such as acne, sensitive skin, hair loss and menopause
- Build and maintain compliance systems, SOPs and approval workflows that scale with a rapid-growing multi-brand business
- Keep technical and regulatory documentation complete, current and audit-ready across the active SKU portfolio
- Support international expansion by identifying regulatory requirements,
risks and documentation needed market by market
- Monitor emerging regulatory developments and proactively flag risks before they become commercial problems
- Support product recall readiness, incident response and corrective action processes when required

- Strong understanding of retailer compliance expectations and export market requirements
- Ability to balance technical rigour with commercial practicality in a fast-paced environment
