We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide person-centred support to an NDIS participant in Orchard Hills, NSW.

About The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will:

- Provide person-centred support to an NDIS participant with complex support needs.
- Assist with personal care, community access, and daily living activities.
- Support the participant to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
- Provide support in a calm, patient, and professional manner, particularly when working with complex behaviours or support requirements.
- Build positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with the participant.
- Follow individual support plans, behaviour support strategies, and relevant care instructions.
- Maintain accurate shift notes, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, managers, and other members of the participant’s support team.
- Follow all relevant NDIS policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience supporting participants with personal care and daily living activities is highly regarded.

Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- National Police Check.
- Current First Aid &
- CPR Certificate.
- Valid Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate –
