Klug is an Australian technology distributor representing and servicing a growing portfolio of consumer electronics, smart-home and appliance brands, including brands such as Tineco.

We work closely with major retailers across Australia and New Zealand to manage sales, product launches, field execution, training, merchandising and after-sales support.

The Role

Klug is seeking a hands-on Field Sales Manager to manage retail execution across Queensland and the Northern Territory.

The role is responsible for building solid relationships with retail stores, improving product knowledge, maintaining brand presentation and driving sales performance across Klug’s brand portfolio.

This is a field-based position requiring regular travel throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland, along with scheduled travel to the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Build strong relationships with store managers, department managers and retail sales teams.
- Complete an agreed store-visit schedule across Queensland and the Northern Territory.
- Deliver product training, demonstrations and new-product briefings.
- Drive sell-through by improving staff engagement, product knowledge and recommendation rates.
- Ensure products, displays, point-of-sale materials and promotional pricing are correctly executed.
- Monitor stock availability and identify lost-sales opportunities.
- Support product launches, promotional periods and key retail events.
- Identify opportunities to increase ranging, display space and in-store visibility.
- Gather competitor, pricing and customer feedback from the market.
- Resolve store-level issues and escalate operational or after-sales matters when required.
- Maintain accurate visit reports, photos, training records and action items.
- Work closely with Klug’s national accounts, product,



marketing and after-sales teams.
- Represent Klug and its brands professionally at all times.

Key Performance Measures
- Completion and quality of scheduled store visits.
- Sales and sell-through performance across the Queensland and Northern Territory regions.
- Retail staff training participation and product knowledge.
- Display, merchandising and promotional compliance.
- Product availability and reduction of out-of-stock issues.
- Quality of retailer relationships and store-level feedback.
- Identification and conversion of additional ranging or display opportunities.
- Accuracy and timeliness of field reporting.

About You
- Experience in field sales, territory management, retail account support or consumer electronics is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Australian retail environment.
- Confident delivering product demonstrations and training to retail teams.
- Commercially focused with the ability to identify and act on sales opportunities.
- Organised and comfortable managing a large geographic territory.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work independently while remaining connected with the national team.
- Comfortable using reporting, CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
- Available for regular metropolitan, regional and interstate travel.
- Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
- Full Australian working rights.
