Our client is an Australian subsidiary of a European-based manufacturer of high quality equipment installed on industrial production lines throughout the world.

At this time we are looking for a Field Service Technician to install new equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns and promote additional service offerings to a loyal base of existing clients. Your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

- Installation of recent equipment in the field.
- Service and maintenance activities both on-site and in the workshop
- Attending to breakdowns and troubleshooting equipment throughout Melbourne and country areas.
- Proactively staying in touch with your client base and promoting service contracts and parts sales.
- Customer training on upgrades and new installations.

In order to thrive in this role, our successful candidate should be able to demonstrate most or all of the following selection criteria:




- You are trade qualified in a mechanical or electrical discipline and can obtain a Restricted Electrical Licence, (if you don’t already have one!)
- An affinity to troubleshoot and problem solve electrical, electronic and mechanical faults.
- A professional approach along with excellent communication and customer service skills
- You are a proactive self-starter who is able to work autonomously
- Previous field service experience is essential.
