We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to become a key member of a growing and supportive team, with the ability to contribute directly to the company's continued growth, operational performance, and financial success.

VM Drilling is a privately owned RC drilling company based in Kalgoorlie, serving clients throughout Western Australia. VM Drilling was established in 2004 as a one rig company and has grown organically to a reputable mid-size company. Today the business is operating up to 10 Rigs and possesses extensive experience within the mining industry.

- Monthly management reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cash flow management
- Payroll oversight
- Taxation compliance




- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
- Asset and fleet reporting
- Financial controls and governance
- Business improvement initiatives

About you

- CPA or CA qualified
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting or finance role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and management reporting
- Experience with Xero, CorePlan, Connecteam, and other accounting, ERP and payroll systems
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and leadership skills
- A collaborative team player who can build solid relationships across the business
- A proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and driving continuous improvement
