About the role

Tru Fire is a small company expanding due to high volume of jobs. We are looking for a portable service technician to service onsite fire safety equipment such as Fire Extinguisher, Fire Blankets, Hose Reels, Hydrants, Exit Doors and Exit/Emergency Lights. You will be based at our factory/office in Carrum Downs but will service all around Melbourne and surroundings.

Twice a year we have ACT jobs so two/three night travel is required. Hours can vary day to day but we work a minimum 8 hour day, Monday - Friday. Van and work phone provided.

Key responsibilities

- Service onsite fire safety equipment including Fire Extinguisher, Fire Blankets, Hose Reels, Hydrants, Exit Doors and Exit/Emergency Lights
- Schedule your own jobs and manage your day. Training with a technician provided for calling customers/booking out your days, stock control, servicing, tools and iphone app




- Deal with customers daily
- Drive to service locations across Melbourne and surroundings
- Travel for ACT jobs twice a year (two/three nights required)

About you

- Valid Australian drivers license and good driving history required
- Working With Children's will be required
- Construction White Card preferred but not essential
- Highly organised and self sufficient
- Patience and good customer service skills are essential
- Experience is a bonus but not required.
- Suits a person that likes to be on the go and positive with people
