Our client, Australia's most trusted bearing supplier is seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist for their busy operations.

This role is ongoing with the potential for temp - perm for the right candidate.

Hours: Monday - Friday full time hours with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

- Operating machine tool's both CNC and manual machines as per the standard operating procedures
- Equipment inspections, testing and maintenance as required
- Dismantle, document and reassemble mechanical equipment
- Liaising with Workshop Manager and consult on the status of outstanding jobs
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Completion of all documentation relating to the job in an accurate and timely manner

Requirements to be successful are

- Adaptable and adaptable, able to work as part of a cohesive team
- CNC and Manual Machining experience is essential
- Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical, Fitter/Turner (or equivalent)
- Forklift License - advantageous but not essential

- General machining experience background
- CAD/CAM experience would be advantageous but not essential
