ANZUK Education is proud to partner with a well-regarded co-educational Catholic secondary school located in Brisbane’s south-east to recruit a talented and passionate Middle Years Teacher for a 16-month contract commencing Term 3!

This unique role offers the prospect to teach a combination of Music, Drama, English and Humanities across the Middle Years, making it ideal for an educator who is passionate about both the arts and academic learning areas and enjoys fostering creativity, curiosity and confidence in young people.

The successful candidate will join a team-oriented teaching team within a vibrant school community that is committed to student wellbeing, academic growth and holistic education.

The Role

- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons across Music, Drama, English and Humanities
- Create inclusive and supportive classroom environments that foster student engagement
- Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality teaching and learning programs
- Contribute positively to the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programs
- Build strong relationships with students, families and the broader school community

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor of Education or relevant teaching qualification
- Queensland College of Teachers (QCT ) registration (or eligibility)
- Experience teaching one or more of the following subject areas:
- Music
- Drama
- English
- Humanities

- Passion for working with Middle Years students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to collaboration, professional learning and student success
- Ability to contribute positively to the values and culture of a faith-based school community
