ANZUK Education is partnering with a leading independent girls’ school in Brisbane that is seeking an experienced Senior English Teacher to join their team for Term 2 on a full-time contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded academic environment and teach motivated senior students within a well-resourced English department.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching within the Senior English program, including:

- Teaching 2 x Year 11 English classes (students have already commenced Unit 1)
- Teaching 1 x Year 12 English class
- Supporting the wider program through supervision duties to make up a full-time load
- Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing department
- Assessing, marking and reporting in line with QCAA requirements

This position requires a teacher confident in delivering senior English curriculum and maintaining high academic expectations.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Experience teaching Senior English (Year 11 and Year 12)
- Experience working in an independent school environment
- Excellent classroom management and academic rigour
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing faculty





Requirements

- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Commitment to safeguarding children and young people
