About Manly Skiff Sailing Club

With over 100 years of history, our club is the gem of Manly Cove that offers spectacular water views towards Sydney Harbour.The Club provides its members with sailing activities and the necessary resources to allow its sailing fleet to become one of the most competitive in Australia.

The Club itself offers two bars, a relaxed bistro with a seafood focus, a multipurpose function room, an incredible sun-kissed deck, and indoor-outdoor areas extending over the water with ample seating and shade. Complete waterfront dining in all its glory!

About the Role

You’ll be the right hand to our Head Chef, the calm in the chaos, and the driving force behind a smooth, high-energy kitchen. From prep to pass, you’ll help lead the team to deliver food that looks amazing, tastes even better, and keeps our guests coming back for more.

A passion for hospitality – you genuinely care about the guest experience

Strong leadership skills – you can inspire, guide and develop a team

Solid experience in a fast-paced kitchen

High standards in food quality, presentation & consistency

A cool head under pressure (you thrive in the rush)

Excellent knowledge of food safety & kitchen operations

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting and leading the kitchen team

Maintaining high food standards and consistency

Assisting with menu development and specials

Managing stock, ordering and cost control

Driving a positive, respectful kitchen culture
