Secondary Teachers – English and Maths

Inspire senior students in a unique vocational school, teaching English or Maths while supporting diverse pathways to academic and career success.

We are seeking two secondary teachers to join a high-performing, unique trade school in North Brisbane. These full-time permanent positions offer the chance to teach across Years 10 to 12 , with vacancies available in:

- English – including Year 10 English and Year 11 & 12 Essential English
- Mathematics (Years 10–12) – with a preference for candidates able to teach Science

The school is renowned for its innovative approach, integrating Queensland’s Certificate of Education (QCE) curriculum with trade training and apprenticeship pathways. The campus provides students with a well-rounded education that supports both academic achievement and vocational success.
Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and QCE requirements .
- Support students of varying abilities in a classroom environment that fosters confidence, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Develop students’ literacy, numeracy, analytical, and reasoning skills to prepare them for both academic and vocational pathways.
- For Mathematics applicants, the ability to contribute to Science teaching will be highly regarded.
- Assess and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.




- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives.
- Actively contribute to the school community through events and relationship building.

What We’re Looking For:

- A recognised teaching qualification and current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- Experience teaching English or Mathematics (junior and/or senior levels) in line with the Australian Curriculum and QCE frameworks.
- For Mathematics candidates, Science teaching capability will be viewed favourably.
- A commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for professional growth.
