The Western Force are entering a new era, an era of alignment from club to country - taking advantage of the golden decade - two home world cups and the growth of the Sevens on the international stage. RugbyWA and Western Force are forging a current partnership through a new not for profit entity, combining resources and skill sets to create “One Rugby”, positioning rugby in WA as one connected game, from local clubs and schools through to the Western Force and the international stage.

The General Manager - High Performance will be integral in shaping the strategy for the performance of elite players in Western Force rugby teams and player pathways in Western Australia as part of the integration with Rugby Australia.

The position is a key leadership role within the Australian and Western Australian rugby ecosystem and reports into the CEO, Western Force.



This role will lead High Performance rugby strategy across the organisation and will have a significant impact on rugby right across the state of Western Australia.

Integral in driving the strategic implementation, growth, development and management of high-performance sport programs and systems (from elite youth development to the senior divisions of rugby in WA), the role will lead across the pathway for both men’s and women’s programs, and engage deeply with Schools and Clubs that play in the Fortescue WA Premier Shield (Men and Women) competitions, as well as players and player managers.
