About the Role An immediate opportunity is available for a General Practitioner to join a busy mixed billing clinic in Cairns. This role is ideal for a GP seeking a locum placement with flexibility and strong financial incentives, with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis until a permanent doctor is secured.

You’ll be working in a DPA MM2 location, making this suitable for doctors under moratorium, while enjoying a structured weekday roster and supportive clinical environment.

What’s on Offer

- $200 per hour or 70% of billings (whichever is higher)
- $75 per session (4 hours) towards accommodation
- Return flights provided (QLD, NSW or VIC)
- Car provided for the duration of the placement
- Mixed billing clinic with strong patient demand

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality, patient-centred consultations




- Manage a range of general practice presentations
- Work collaboratively with clinic staff and support team
- Maintain accurate clinical records and continuity of care

What You’ll Need

- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (or equivalent)
- Ability to commit to minimum 2-week blocks
- Strong communication and patient care skills
