Role Description

FIRST, WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

You will not see patients. No clinics, no appointments, no on-call, no consultations.

WHAT IT IS A clinical oversight role supporting our genetic screening services in Australia. You will work alongside our genetic counsellors and clinical team, bringing GP judgement to how we deliver screening and helping shape the clinical thinking behind a service that is still being built.

A few hours a month to start, asynchronous and flexible around your existing practice. This will grow. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with it rather than take a one-off engagement.

You do not need genomics expertise. Curiosity about it matters more.





Someone who wants in on the early stage. Concretely, that means you:

– Are energised rather than frustrated by a company that is still figuring things out – Want to help build the systems, not inherit them – Move quickly, decide with incomplete information, and back yourself – Hold a high bar on clinical integrity and will say so loudly when something falls short of it – Believe genomic medicine should reach well beyond the people it currently reaches

We are a small team moving fast in two countries with plans to expand into more.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

- FRACGP or FACRRM, current unrestricted AHPRA registration – Unrestricted Medicare provider status – Skilled indemnity cover extending to non-consulting clinical work, or willingness to arrange it – No current role that would conflict with working alongside a commercial genomics company
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, and inclusive care.
- Effective communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
