Osseointegration International

Sydney

Osseointegration International designs medical devices for amputees. Our technology replaces the conventional socket prosthesis with an implant anchored directly into bone, and it changes what people are able to do with the rest of their lives. We work closely with the surgeons who use it.

We are opening a structured graduate program for 2026.

What it is

Twelve months, three rotations:

- Clinical. Patient follow-up, capturing outcome measures, and clinical research.
- Operations. Planning and preparing live cases, and coordinating them through to delivery.
- Research and development. Design support, prototyping, and verification and validation testing.

Quality is not a rotation. You will work inside an ISO 13485 quality management system throughout, because that is simply how everything here gets done. You will also hold one continuous responsibility across the full twelve months, so you finish with breadth and with something that was genuinely yours.

Who we are looking for A recent graduate in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical science, health science or a related discipline. You do not need prior industry experience. You do need to be accurate, methodical, and comfortable chasing busy people for things you need.

We are a small company, which means real responsibility early and work that changes week to week. We also work across time zones, so occasional hours outside the standard day come with the territory. If you want a narrow, well-defined graduate role in a large organisation, this is not that. We use AI tools in our work and we expect you to. Tell us how you already do.

What happens at the end

This is a twelve-month contract, and we want to be straight with you about it. There may be a permanent role at the end, depending on how you go and what the business needs at the time. We are not promising one and we will not pretend otherwise. What we will do is tell you honestly along the way where you stand, so you are never guessing.

Details

Paid contract, twelve months, full time or from three days a week. Based in Macquarie Park. You must have the right to work in Australia.

To apply

Send your CV and a short cover letter, no more than one page, answering this: tell us about something you did that nobody asked you to do. It can be from study, work, or anything else. We read these properly, and it is the part we care about most.
