Role Description The Graphic Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pinkenba, QLD, supporting the visual communication needs of Tangalooma Island Resort. This role involves designing marketing and promotional materials across digital and print channels, including brochures, social media assets, signage, and advertising campaigns that reflect the resort’s brand and guest experience.
The Graphic
Designer will collaborate with marketing,
sales, and operations teams to develop creative concepts, produce graphics for events and seasonal campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across all visual touchpoints. Day-to-day tasks include creating and refining layouts, preparing files for print and web, managing multiple design requests, and contributing creative ideas to enhance guest engagement and brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for digital and print materials.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding to develop and maintain cohesive visual identities.
- Robust Typography skills, including font selection, hierarchy, and legibility in layout design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar).
- Portfolio showcasing creative, high-quality design work across various formats.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond to feedback constructively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
