We're looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Eagle Farm. This is an exciting prospect for a creative thinker who loves developing beautiful, commercially effective design across both print and digital platforms.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll play a key role in shaping and maintaining the Merlo brand across our retail stores, wholesale network, digital channels and corporate communications.

No two days are the same. From launching new products and seasonal campaigns to designing in-store point of sale, packaging, merchandise, social media content and event collateral, you'll help bring our brand to life across every customer touchpoint.

You'll work closely with Marketing, Retail Operations, Wholesale, Coffee Training and external suppliers to deliver high-quality creative solutions that are on brand, commercially focused and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

- Design engaging creative across print, digital and social media platforms.
- Develop marketing campaigns that support retail, wholesale and eCommerce initiatives.
- Create in-store promotional material, signage, menus and point-of-sale assets.
- Design packaging, product labels and branded merchandise.
- Produce digital assets including EDMs, website graphics and social media content.




- Maintain and evolve Merlo's visual brand identity across all channels.
- Prepare artwork for print and liaise with external suppliers.
- Support new product launches, promotional campaigns and seasonal activations.
- Assist with creative direction and photography post-production work, where required.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

About you You'll be a creative professional who combines outstanding design skills with commercial thinking.

You'll also have

- 5+ years' experience in a Graphic Design role, with a track record across brand, marketing, digital and print design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Experience designing for social media, digital marketing and retail environments.
- Excellent typography, layout and branding skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach with a positive, can-do attitude.

Desirable





- Experience with video editing and motion graphics.
- Photography or content creation experience.
- Experience working with consumer, retail, hospitality or FMCG brands.
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro.
