We are now seeking an exceptional Group Manager, Employment & Future Pathways to lead Opendoor's employment services portfolio and help deliver the organisation's next phase of impact, growth and sustainability. This executive role is responsible for ensuring that strong commercial and contractual performance is matched by outstanding participant outcomes and service quality.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive leadership role holds accountability for the performance, integrity and sustainability of Opendoor's Employment & Future Pathways portfolio, including Workforce Australia and Transition to Work programs. Employment Outcomes & Social Impact
- Deliver enduring employment outcomes rather than short-term placements.
- Embed trauma-informed, person-centred and wrap-around service delivery.
- Ensure participant dignity, safety, wellbeing and capability remain central to all decisions.
Performance, Contract & Financial Leadership
- Lead operational performance, revenue, claims integrity and contract compliance.
- Ensure programs remain financially sustainable while maintaining service excellence.
- Identify growth opportunities through partnerships, innovation and future funding opportunities.
Workforce & Operational Excellence
- Lead and develop a large,
multi-disciplinary workforce across multiple locations.
- Build a culture of accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement and high performance.
- Strengthen workforce capability to support future growth and increasing service complexity.
Government, Employers & Partnerships
- Develop strong relationships with government stakeholders, employers, consortium partners and community organisations.
- Strengthen Opendoor's position as a trusted employment services provider and partner.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Act as the First Line of Defence for service delivery, contract management, claims accuracy and quality assurance.
- Ensure audit readiness, regulatory compliance and robust risk management practices.
About You
You are an experienced and values-driven executive who combines strategic leadership with operational excellence. A High-Impact Service Delivery Leader
- Demonstrated experience leading large, complex service delivery operations in employment, community, disability, health, education or related human services sectors.
- Track record of achieving strong performance outcomes within regulated or government-funded environments.
Commercially Astute & Outcomes Focused
- Solid financial, operational and contract management capability.
- Able to balance commercial discipline,
compliance obligations and social impact objectives.
A Trusted People Leader
- Experience building high-performing teams and developing leadership capability.
- Able to lead through change, complexity and ambiguity while maintaining a strong organisational culture.
