OSHC Service Director

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced OSHC leader to step into a Service Director role within a well‑established Outside School Hours Care service located in the Canberra region.

This role is ideal for a confident, hands‑on leader who enjoys supporting teams, maintaining strong operational standards, and delivering a high‑quality OSHC program.

About the Role

As Service Director, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a large OSHC service, including before and after school care and vacation care. You will provide leadership to a team of educators while ensuring compliance, safety, and positive outcomes for children and families.

The successful candidate will act as the Nominated Supervisor, or be able to meet regulatory requirements to do so.



This role is offered as a medium‑term contract, with potential to become ongoing.

What’s On Offer

- Potential opportunity to transition to a permanent role
- Full‑time hours, 38 hours per week, may include split shifts
- Salary up to $100,000 plus salary packaging and additional benefits
- Established service with a stable, well‑trained team

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily operations across before and after school care and vacation care
- Act as Nominated Supervisor and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
- Support, mentor, and coordinate a team of educators
- Manage staffing, rostering, and operational priorities
- Maintain strong relationships with families and key stakeholders
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and well‑run service environment

About You

- Proven experience in OSHC leadership, Service Director, Coordinator, or strong 2IC ready to step up
- Solid understanding of OSHC operations and compliance requirements
- Confident, organised, and able to lead a team effectively
- Available to commence within a short timeframe
