About the role

The Senior Spatial Intelligence Analyst strengthens road safety data capability by integrating and analysing complex spatial datasets to support policy, planning, investment and operational decisions. The role combines crash, transport, infrastructure and network data to generate insights, identify risks and inform Road Safety Action Plan 3.

You’resomeone who:

- Applies critical thinking and systems thinking to analyse complex information, identify opportunities and deliver practical solutions that support strategic outcomes.
- Uses geospatial analytics and data modelling expertise to generate insights, develop effective visualisations and inform evidence-based decisions.
- Focuses on outcomes by connecting analysis and solutions to community impact and organisational priorities.
- Drives innovation and continuous improvement by identifying better ways of working, sharing ideas and improving processes.
- Supports capability development by applying expertise, collaborating with others and promoting effective use of data and spatial tools.

Qualifications and experience

You’llbring:





- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a related field (mandatory).
- Experience relevant to the role’s capabilities, including strong data management skills in analysis, reporting and communication (mandatory).
- Technical competency in spatial software (QGIS preferred, Esri products, Power BI) and stakeholder management experience within government (desirable).
