Centre Manager / Centre Director
Location: Inner Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne | Full-time | Salary: $100,000–$135,000 + benefits

About the Centre
This contemporary early learning service has been thoughtfully designed to support children’s curiosity, wellbeing and development. The centre places a strong emphasis on warm relationships, community connection, and educator pride .

About the Role As Centre Manager / Director, you will:

- Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a high‑performing early learning service
- Mentor, coach and inspire a committed team of educators
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families and the local community
- Drive occupancy growth and centre performance
- Ensure compliance with the National Regulations, NQS, EYLF and Victorian Frameworks
- Create a welcoming, inclusive and engaging environment for children, families and staff
- Work closely with ownership and leadership during the transition into full centre responsibility

About You You will bring:

- Diploma or ACECQA‑approved equivalent in Early Childhood Education
- 2+ years’ experience as a Centre Director or in a strong leadership role
- A genuine passion for high‑quality early childhood education
- Confidence across budgets, rostering, CCS and centre administration




- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
- A warm, professional and positive leadership style
- A proven ability to lead teams and support occupancy growth

Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are highly desirable and will be viewed favourably, given the centre’s diverse community.
