About therole

We arecurrently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenanceteam in a well-established role at our Port Adelaide Terminal. Inthis role, you will manage operational requirements to ensure plantand equipment is maintained to the highest standard and runningefficiently, while focusing on safety. Maximising uptime iscritical to ensuring we can deliver an efficient and reliableservice to our customers.

This rolewill also provide you with day-to-day variety and problem solving,while also incorporating long term planning projects as part of ourpreventative and predictive maintenance programmes.

Duties

- Implement andconduct fault finding and repairs to electrical and pneumaticsystems.
- Assist Mechanicalstaff with repairs to Diesel and 12V equipment.
- Assist in developingand implementing solutions and strategies to ensure the timelyand effective response to equipment failures andbreakdowns.
- Perform electrical(including PLC diagnostic) and repairs.
- Workwith the Maintenance Manager to identify and implement plantimprovements and future capital projects.
- Participate in arotating on call roster
- Thisposition follows a 5-week rotating roster, covering day shifts,night shifts and on-call coverage
- Execute thepreventative maintenance program in line with terminaloperations.

Aboutyou

- AnElectrical workers licence Class A (SouthAustralia)
- Havea willingness to learn bearing lubricationtechniques.
- Competent ininterpreting hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
- Experience withhydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumaticsystems
- Experiencemaintaining fixed and mobile plant and equipment




- Willingness toassist mechanical staff and learn recent skills.
- Positive attitudeand teamwork mindset.
- Theability to work at heights and within confinedspaces
- Current drivers’licence is essential
